This bonded stone wall relief  is a faithful reproduction in minature of a massive stone artifact found in the ruins of the Mayan city of Palenque.

The original Sarcophagus Lid from the tomb of King Pacal is 12 feet long and weighs 5 tons. 

The relief of King Cham Bahlam (son of Pacal who became king  upon his father's death) shown on the left, is no longer available.
