Shipping Policies
Shipping Methods: Our customary method to ship is Fed-Ex Ground. Packages to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are shipped via U. S. Post Office. Shipments to U.S. military addresses (APO) are shipped via U.S. Post Office priority mail. Some international destinations are shipped via Priority Mail or Express Mail.
Shipping Rates: We use Fed-Ex standard ground rates based on weight and distance being shipped, except where packages are large in size compared to their weight. On those packages, Fed-Ex charges a higher rate based on a formula that uses the cubic volume of the package to calculate a "dimensional weight", rather than actual shipping weight, to compensate for the additional space they occupy during shipping. Packages they judge to be "oversize" are charged a $45 surcharge and higher minimum weight. (At this time, only one of our products is in the "oversized" category, but several are subject to the "dimensional weight” charge).
'Dimensional Weight' Rates: If the higher dimensional weight applies to shipping a product, there will be a note on the product page to alert you about the additional shipping charge.
Return Policy
Satisfaction Guaranteed: We guarantee your satisfaction. If a product is defective, or you are dissatisfied with it for any reason, simply return it within thirty days in the original packing and box, and once we receive the product back in good condition, we will refund the purchase price or exchange the product, as you prefer. We are sorry, but shipping charges are non-refundable. If you are not able to ship the product back yourself, pickup service is available. If you need pickup service, send us an email or call us and we will request a pickup at your address.
Damaged Products: In the event you receive a product that was damaged in shipping, we must report the damage within five days to file a damage claim with the freight carrier, so we must ask you to notify us within the same time period. The item must be packed in its original packing and packaging so the carrier can pick it up and inspect it. Failing to report the damage within five days, or not having the original box will result in the freight claim being rejected, and in that case, we would not be able to issue a refund or credit. If these procedures are followed, we will either ship a replacement item or issue a refund, according to your preference.
